A semicolon.

A semicolon represents the point in a sentence where a writer could’ve stopped but he didn’t. A metaphor for where a cutter, someone suffering from depression, or one contemplating suicide could’ve stopped, but didn’t. Keep going. It gets better.

Be aware if you or someone you know is suffering and needs assistance, a voice, or someone to listen. Be. Know. Do.
